materials:
Jazz paint in assorted colors
water to thin paint
spray bottles (cleaned out)
large sheets of paper

procedure:
cover work area with newspaper
allow children to experiment with the results of spraying various colors over one another

handy hints:
The spray bottles should be easy to operate with little fingers. Jazz Gloss tempera will work great over the top of Jazz Liquid Tempera, Jr. Jazz, or Jazz School Tempera, for transparent and shiny effects.
